Vitamin B12

  • Vitamin B12 - serum B12 or methylmalonic acid (MMA) for a more precise reading
  • Ferritin and iron studies - ferritin tells you your iron stores; total iron-binding capacity (TIBC) shows how well your body is transporting iron
  • Vitamin D (25-OH) - the standard test for D status
  • Folate - serum folate or red blood cell folate for longer-term picture
