Holidays, work, family visits. Travel is part of life, and being on GLP-1 does not have to get in the way. What changes is the routine: the pen needs temperature control, the dose time may need adjusting across time zones, and your packing list gets a few new items.

Most GLP-1 pens need refrigeration while sealed. Once opened, many last up to 30 days outside the fridge as long as temperature stays below 30°C. When in doubt, check the leaflet for your specific pen.
At the airport, the pen cannot go in checked luggage in the cargo hold. The hold is not climate-controlled and temperatures can destroy the medication. Carry the pen in your hand luggage, together with a cool bag if you are heading to a warm destination.
If your flight is long and you have a layover, plan what to do with the pen during the wait. A small thermal pouch fits in a backpack and keeps temperature stable for a few hours.
